About the opportunity:  We have an exciting opportunity for a Nutritionist to join our Women’s Football Medical department.   

As Nutritionist you will provide expert advice and guidance on all elements relating to performance nutrition for the Women’s team; working closely with the Head of Performance, Coaches and Medical Teams to review and consider the needs of each individual player; providing support and guidance regarding diet and nutrition. 

You will work with the performance nutrition chefs regarding menus paying attention to the games programme and rehabilitation plans. 

Who we are looking for: Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience working as a performance nutritionist or similar in an elite sporting environment showing evidence of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team. 

You will have experience in developing sport specific menus including evidence of creativity in recipe development to achieve key sport nutrition goals and a good understanding of sports science and how nutrition impacts athlete performance. 

Essentially, the successful candidate must hold the following qualifications: 

  • Degree in Sports Science or a related discipline 

  • A Masters qualification, or equivalent, in Nutrition 

  • SENr graduate 

  • ISAK level 1 

This position is working 24 hours per week on a Permanent Contract basis.
